Surat Asy Syams بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحٰىهَاۖ Wasy-syamsi wa ḍuḥāhā. Demi matahari dan sinarnya pada waktu duha (ketika matahari naik sepenggalah), وَالْقَمَرِ اِذَا تَلٰىهَاۖ Wal-qamari iżā talāhā. demi bulan saat mengiringinya, وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا جَلّٰىهَاۖ Wan-nahāri iżā jallāhā. demi siang saat menampakkannya,
